World's First Mobile With In-Screen Fingerprint Scanner

A revolution in the mobile technology of the world where Chinese mobile company Vivo introduced a new smartphone X20 Plus UD. The main feature of this phone that makes it different from others is its very unique in-screen fingerprint scanner which is used in any mobile for the first time. Tech experts declared this as a great addition in the mobile technology of the world. This mobile was unveiled in CES 2018 but didn't announce its name as well as launch date. But now, world's first mobile phone with in-screen fingerprint scanner has now been launched in the market of China.


It is not a completely new phone. The X20 Plus UD is basically the updated version of the previous X20 Plus. But the main addition is its unique fingerprint scanner. If you wish to unlock this phone, just put your finger on the screen and by recognizing your fingerprint, the phone will be unlocked. The specifications of Vivo X20 Plus UD contain an 18:9, 6.43 inch display of Super Amoled that is mostly equal to 2160 x 1080 pixels. It has Snapdragon 660 processor of Qualcomms along with 4 GB Ram. The mobile has 12 megapixel two rear cameras. Currently, the retail price of the phone is 3600 Chinese Yuan that is equal to AU$700 in mobile phones Australia market.

While following this Vivo mobile, more brands are expected to use this fingerprint screen technology in their smartphones in the Mobile World Congress 2018 which is scheduled in March 2018. In this conference, some of the best mobile brands of the world such as LG, Samsung, etc. are going to launch the new models of their phones. Although, Vivo has a close relationship with Oppo and OnePlus, so, it is possible that these Chinese phone brands join hands together and reveal something new in the fingerprint technology.


If you want to buy the Vivo X20 Plus UD then you have to wait for sometimes, because the phone is currently available in China only. It is not confirmed that when this phone will be available in the international markets. Third party online retailers have an option but it is in news that the phone will likely to launch in the market without installation of Google Play Store. So, third party online retailers should be aware of it. People are so excited about this phone because they want the unique feature of fingerprint scanning. We hope the new Vivo X20 Plus UD will create a spark in the international mobile market.
